Sorry I haven't been blogging recently, but I'm back on track! Fashion Week here in NYC is coming up in a few days so expect MANY, MANY (probably so many that it will become overwhelming...) reviews on all the show. I'll be going to a few of them, so I'll include my personal pictures and experiences as well.
So, I'm going to dedicate this post to the ONE and the ONLY, Lady Gaga. I recently have become SO obsessed with her and everything related to her. I was really sad when her show sold out at Radio City Music Hall but she is planning a new tour this summer, so hopefully I'll get myself to that one.
What I'm really in love with about Lady Gaga is her style and the amazing pieces she wears. From the McQueen heels (YES... those ones...), to the bubble dresses, she looks so amazing and unique in everything she wears. Here are some of my favorite Gaga ensembles:
THANK YOU GAGA. ONLY YOU (and Daphne Guinness, of course!) COULD WEAR THESE.
It doesn't get better than that. Bubbles done chicly.
GAGA AND OPRAH. REVOLUTIONARY.
GAGA IN HER HAIR BOW (which was even done in Teen Vogue) AND HER CLASSIC VERSACES.
AMAZING. AMAZING. AMAZING. GAGA PERFORMING ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE IN "THE ORBIT."
NOW THAT YOU HAVE GOTTEN A TASTE OF GAGA...
I URGE EVERYONE TO WATCH THE BAD ROMANCE VIDEO.
It features art, fashion, and amazing music in under 5 minutes.
Gaga is revolutionary and is "taking over the world, one sequin at a time."
favorite designers: "This is hard! Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi, I'm really into Burberry Trench coats right now, Lanvin, Chloe, and of course Alexander Wang - I love his clothing, however nothing looks good on me! They seem to be made for taller girls or girls with very curvy bodies!"
first fashion moment: "When I was 11, I went to the Tamsen fashion show, which I believe was at one of the Piers, and I got all dressed up and snuck a second row seat! After I boarded a yacht for the after party, I saw all the guests and models who looked so tall and beautiful and I knew I had to be a part of that world in whatever way I could!"
style icons: "Kate Moss (obviously...), French Girls wearing red stripes and having amazing accents, Coco Rocha (before her Chanel days!), Victoria Beckham, and pretty much anyone British!"
describe your style: "Modern, yet timeless..."
favorite places to shop: "Barneys, Topshop, Forever 21, LF, and many more!"
Dress: Tara Jarmon (bought in the South of France)
Hi, I'm Braden. I'm 14 years old and I have a fashion line. I originally wanted this blog to be about me DIYing the latest runway trends, but it looks like it has just turned into me blogging about runway shows and celebrities. I'm also going to include posts about my own fashion line, as well. I'll document the steps of making a collection, from the sketches to the runway show. Enjoy!
